Leaving May 12th to Beijing, China. hyper.gif

Let the journey begin! dance3.gif

Rough plan is
China > Nepal > India > Thailand > Laos > Cambodia > Indonesia > Australia > New Zealand > Argentina > Peru > Back in the states but traveling within the states > Europe (list goes on)... i plan to travel for awhile lol. I will be in each country for as long as they let me stay there.

My first TP post looking back at it now was pretty negative, desperate for help, and unhappy. Now I can't even tell to you how differently I see things and it's really only been 6 months or so since that post. It took a heck of a lot of guts at first to decide if I wanted this but everything started falling into place so easily. Someone is defiantly helping me out up there because it all came together so perfectly. I've had to sell nearly everything to make this happen because nothing was going to stop me from making this possible. It was way too easy to sell and I was happier with item I've sold.

I really owe a lot to everyone here. Gathered so much information and best of all made some friends. I can't thank you all enough. flowers.png

That must feel so gooood! Not only because you get to travel but because it's nice to not have stuff.

Yeap! It felt like I was losing weight. Less things pulling me down. I just have whats really importaint to me (pictures and memories).

It was certainly a rush buying that first ticket. Pressing the BUY button made me sweat.

Such a huge thing to do, and you've done it. That's just so cool. You should be really proud.

Dude, this is awesome, it will be an absolute blast. I'm so glad you're feeling really positive about it all.

Let me know if you happen to swing by England at any point... and whatever you do, take millions of photos!

That's awesome news! Perhaps cos I haven't been paying enough attention, but I hadn't realised until now the huge scope of your trip - I hope it's everything you're looking for and more biggrin.gif

Look me up in Oz when you hit Down Under shores - if you're planning on heading to Melbourne, that is smile.gif

Well done mate. I recentely booked my flights and you are right, the lack of belongings and sense of adventure is amazing. Also the sense of comminuty and helpfulness of other memebers on here is overwhelming. As a first time solo traveller, knowing that I can get excellent up todate help and advice is equally reasuring and grin inducing. Thank you peeps. I can't wait to get involved drinks.gif

Its just starting to dawn on me what a blast I'm going to have. I've spent years thinking about it and now its going to happen. If you're like me, you are counting down the days and will have the time of your life.

I'm off to Nepal in April first. Rafting, camping and trekking the Annapurna trail. Looking forward to the change in pace gora.gif

Yeap! Got a calendar marking down the days.
3 months, 24 days, 12 hours, 51 minutes heh

Thank you so much everyone. Certainly TravelPod has made "planning" this trip a lot better. I don't know what I would have done without you guys wink.gif

Skylab,

I salute you Sir. You are doing what so many don't. You are taking the gigantic step from theory into practice. Prepare to be a changed man my friend. Give and take in every single waking moment and revel in the nectar of life. When you reach my playground give me a shout - the first one's on me.. drinks.gif
