We have about 11 days to travel in Vietnam end next March starting from Hoi An (for a party) ending in Hanoi. Thought we'd spend 4 days Hoi An, drive to Hue for 2 nights then fly to Hanoi for 4 nights inc one overnight boat trip at Halong. Grateful for any advice on this itinerary, whether the weather will be fine for Halong trip at this time, and also any tips on hotels/boats & restaurants (love Vietnamese food). We are both 'flashpacker' types so want comfort but prefer boutique style hotels/guest houses to 5 stars.
