Personally, a friend of mine once booked for me a hotel ...but unfortunately I have forgotter its name as it was 13 years back. He was doing some auditing for the hotel so he thought why not book for me there! It was centrally located, but the moment I got in the room I left the same instant. I called our travel agent in Greece and begged them to do something otherwise I would sleep in a street. frantics.gif hyper.gif
What an experience! devil.png I paid much more but at least it was worth it.

And out of my experience, I think if you happen to hear of a hotel which is centrally located in London and is between 110 to 130 pounds, expect to be disappointed and don't expect much.

If you have been to a hotel that was really dirty, please add it on the list!
Tell us about it and even post a photo or two.

It is strange that the Europe list and the UK list are almost identical. Why create a separate UK list when they are included with the rest of Europe in the Europe list?

To answer your question, I have been in a filthy hostel in Lisbon. I have photos of it in my blog entry:

read about it

But unfortunately I don't remember the name.
