Pathfinder Group: Local Expert Posts: 407 Joined: 28-November 05 From: NW London Now_living_in: Jamaica Member No.: 370	this was languishing unread in my blog so brought it out if it can help others The Following are accommodations I found to be the cheapest places, i'd stay in all of them again if i had a chance.. if you know of any cheaper or updates on the rates then let me know, trinidad - POS - copper kettle - $25us barbados - st.lawrence gap - rios guesthouse $32.50 us (up to 40us now) grenada - st.george - mitchels g/h - $32 us cariacou - paradise beach - banana joes - $20us (right behind paradise beach hotel) SVG, Union island - kendricks g/h - 15us SVG, Bequia - julies g/h - $33us SVG, St. Vincent - kingstown - Leslie's G/H - $20us St.lucia - Soufriere - Cascara g/h - $16us st.lucia - castries - J's g/h - $18us st.lucia - gros islet - marie therese bay view apartments - $24us Best Deal In The Caribbean martinique - Fort-de-france- hibiscus hotel - $46us ..budget killer but cheapest there dominica - 3rivers eco lodge- $20us Antigua - english harbour - Pineapple house - $40us Montserrat - salem - Hot rock hostel - $25 St.Maarten - coles bay - smilers crew house - $25 Dominican Republic - Santo Domingo - Residence Genoa -30 usd incl priv. kitchen dominican republic - sosua - rockys bar - $25us Haiti - Hotel Columbia - Cap Haitien - $10us Haiti- Labidee - Norms Place - 30usd icl. meals. Haiti - Port Au Prince - Walls Guesthouse - 30usd incl. meals the prices would've got a little higher due to when i went to these places (2007).. but i'm sure they'll remain the lowest around town.. all are private rooms except 3rivers, pineapple hse and hot rock hostel.. hope this helps anyone attempting the Caribbean, which isn't as expensive as made out.. kris --------------------
