Nominate me as a Local Expert

I was home alone and had a great time watching America's Next Top Model online with a huge bag of chips. My two roommates were off to their lovely (boy)friends and I didn't bother being by myself so I went to see some fireworks at 12 and that was it.
Lovely evening.

Woke up the next day feeling refreshed and ready for 2009.

I planned on going to NYC and I went! I saw the ball drop in Times Square, but that was it. We were so far away, we couldn't hear the music and then we were standing in the cold street for HOURS, I would not recommend it to anyone.

How was New York? Did you go and see a show?

It was pretty good! We saw Avenue Q, it cost $125, but it was sold out, so I don't think we would've gotten any discounts if we waited any longer...oh well!

So long as you enjoyed it, that is the main thing. Looking forward to reading your blog about it.

So was the Time Square thing an anti-climax then Louise? NYE is so overrated for me... I just wanted to stay in and forget it was happening!

Yeah, definitely anti-climactic, but I was kind of expecting it to be, so it wasn't that bad. I just wanted to do it once in my life. If I ever find myself living in New York, I would definitely go and wait all day at the front one year.
