That is true, only Egypt and Jordan don't mind if you have been visiting Israel before. Which means, not only an Israeli stamp is bad, but also any stamp from a land border crossing to those countries...
Never understood the point of it, since there are so many easy ways of getting around this, but if it makes them happy?
As for Saudi, if you do not work there or are a Moslem visiting Mecca, the only thing you can get is a 3-day transit visa anyways.
