Negombo against Beruwala weather and area, Advice please

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 22-September 10 Member No.: 1340121 Nominate me as a Local Expert	My wife and I are planning to go to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks in early April. We've narrowed our choice to either Club Hotel Dolphin in Negombo area or Jetwing Tropical Villas in Beruwala area. The main thing is can anyone please advise us if Beruwala is usually a lot wetter than Negombo at that time? Is there much difference the Beruwala and Negombo areas? Any other advice on the accomodation chosen would be appreciated. Many thanks.
