Hi!

I want take a short trip, about a week, to Krakow but don't have any idea where to stay? You know every hotel or apartment advertise as the best but I'm sure You know the truth.... ; /

I'm looking for something in moderate price and the best location of course! : )

Maybe You know some great places??

But it entirely depends on what exactly you are looking for. Are you going by yourself? Do you mind sharing a dorm room or bathroom?

OK, then it's better for you to check the first link, the hotels listings, not the B&Bs, because usually you have to share a bathroom at B&Bs.

I have studied abroad in Krakow and traveled there a few times and i would HIGHLY recommend Travellers Inn Priavate Rooms. Very clean, private, staff is extremely nice and helpful, rather decently priced, free breakfast, great location, and feels like home. I hope that helps!

Well I'm currently living in Cracow so I know something about its hostels:)
If you want to stay neat Old Town and city centre - as you said - I would recommend the Aston Hostel. My friends from UK have been staying there this summer and were really satisfied. It's only 5 mins walking distance from the City Centre, close to all the main pubs, bars, restaurants etc. In fact from Dluga street - where Aston is located - there's short distance to any of the main points - main bus/train station, market square, amenities, main attractions. And price for a room is not too high for this location.

as far as I'm concerned Aston Hostel is one of the best I have ever visited and stayed in. I mean really. Clean, bright rooms, great location, and friendly, helpful staff (and hot spot of course!) is all I need

Dluga street is serious near city centre in Krakow so Aston Hostel is situatted very comfortably.
I'll sure visit it during my next visit in Poland.

I live in Cracov too, so I can confirm other`s opinion about Aston Hostel. They have clean rooms and comfortable beds. In Cracov Aston Hostel is on Dluga street so its near to Market Square. Their advantages are clean, cheap rooms and place where hostel is. You can go from there by foot to all important tourist points in Cracov.

And what can you say about staff, is it nice and helpfull?
You know, i slept in mamy hostels in europe, in poland too so i know how annoying can receptionist could be.
Is Aston Hostel's staff different? Are they exceptions?

haha I see that Aston Hostel has got us all crazy about it no wonder, it's really rare to find a good place to sleep so close to the city centre in the big city in general, so I can honestly say, that we were all pretty lucky with this one!

;)lol They look ok :)lol If it's coming about main question I think the best in Crakow is to used hostel to stay there. It's cheap and Aston Hostel have got really good location You can go everywhere by foot (it's the city center) so it wouldn't be a problem when you'll com back late to hostel....and I'm sure you will HAVE FUN!!!

Oh, i will i surely will. Cracow amazed me. People met there insist to visit them this summer.
Maybe there'll be no need to accomodate in Aston, but for sure i'll go there and talk with staff, they're so kind!

maybe visit www.aparthotel24com. You can choose between rooms with bathrooms/ shared bathrooms and apartments. Located close to the old town, but not in the middle of Main Market Chaos . It should be all right for a week.

One time i visited poland i stayed in Cracow and i chosen Globtroter. This was great idea. This place is fantastic. They have best price for room and best locations! Few steps from main square. The staff are very helpful and kind. What is amazing they have a billard and this mini footbal - great for relax

Why not a hostel? I've been in Krakow many times and I always stay in hostels. And I can truly recommend Old Town Hostel, it's near Market Square, but there is nice and quiet.

Actually why not the hostel? In Krakow there are a lots of them, conditions are great and it's much cheaper.

When I came to krakow I stayed in Panda hostel in Jewish district and liked it a lot! It's cosy and fun - they organise vodka tasting each Friday;) Anyway the location is great, rooms are clean and bright, stuff is truly helpful and nice! I do recommend that place!
