Hi all,

I am male 30yrs, been to India 3 times before. Delhi twice (for work), Goa once (pleasure).

Didn't like, honestly speaking, the city of Delhi. Also not excited about going back to Goa, though its quite nice place to visit - wonderful relaxed people everywhere.

I wish to see other so-called great places in India: like Kerala!, Mumbai!, Bangalore!, Chennai!, Jaipur!, Kashmir! etc, etc.. All sound so exciting to visit. I will only have 10 -12 days to be there, which I think is quite enough! (If I like it, can stay much longer, as I run my own company/business).

What I am looking:

1) Been told that Indian Ayurvedia? (healing centers) are quite good for body, mind/soul therapy sessions. I need some of this Indian famous therapy to unwind.

2) May sound contradictory, but I can't go on vacation to a place with no night spots/clubs. As I am single, night life is a must (till I get all settled :)

Any recommendations, suggestions from Indian subcontinent travel experts ;) - on where to go India (city, province wise) will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

carl....

Being in India and travled places, Delhi is actually more like a super-metroplitian city..
I know wat you talking about...
Delhi's rickshaw rides are super duper exciting dude...and wat bout dose busy streets of Chandini Chowk..

Hey Mumbai, Kerala and Jaipur would actually be the destinations you would love to visit...
I have been to Jaipur... Exhilarating experience I swear...

Lemme need if you need any help!

Hi Lonepine!

Yeah thats what I heard, they are all good places worth visiting. My concern, I heard from some Indian expats, that Mumbai is really good for night life, but day-time-wise not such great place to be, very crowded, kinda unclean streets, facilities, etc. And no well established Aurevedya treatments there, which was my objective from going to India in first place.

Far as Kerala, Jaipur! heard them to be good places....but no details as to life there...need insider info on how life is in these quarters of India like... best accomodation, treatment, some night life - if any .. etc.

Many Thanks - for the offer of help!

Cheers

Carl
