Hello everyone. We are 3 college students from Denmark and we are doing a project about travelblogs and travelling. We were wondering if travelblogs have any influence on where you travel. We would appreciate if you could answer a few questions about our project.

Why do you use travelblogs? And how often? = Travel blogs give a great balanced view about a place, you need to know the good and the bad. Also unlike reviews there is no ulterior motive for it to be fair. I probably read 300+ blog entries annually.

What is your main interest when you use a travelblog? = Partly to find more info out and learn about new places. Also though, there are some greatly entertaining bloggers out there.

Do travelblogs have an effect on your travel destination? If yes, how many times did travelblogs have this effect and where did you travel? = That's a tricky one, travel blogs are merely a part of my research on travel, they have an influence but are not the only reason I would go somewhere.

Why do you use travelblogs?
To find information on places I'm travelling to and I write them mainly for friends and family to see what I'm up to rather than writing emails and saying the same things over and over again.
And how often?
Once a week I'll update my blog, I migth check the site a little more than that or update if something big happens.
What is your main interest when you use a travelblog?
Writing the blog and showing photos to friends and family
Do travelblogs have an effect on your travel destination?
No, but they might impact on specific places to stay within that location
If yes, how many times did travelblogs have this effect and where did you travel?
I have booked placed based on majority positive reviews and avoided ones with majorty negative but again, it has never impacted on a destination, only places to go or stay there.
