What's your story?

It's funny I kind of see my life as 2 parts right.

1) Life before my big trip

and

2) Life after the trip.

Guess this happens when ever any big life change event takes place ( like life before marriage, kids etc... )

So far it's just life before the trip

Although I do think this shouldn't be a one time thing, would like to make it happend every 5(?) years. Who knows if that's possible but you can make anything happen that you want.

I agree. I'm doing 'Life after the trip' and it's opened so many doors for me. I travelled the Americas last year, Alaska to Cape Horn overland and haven't looked back. Yeah it broke the bank but I worked the summer in the UK to clear some debts and don't regret spending a single penny. It was worth it for all I've experienced and seen.

Since then I have moved out to Antigua, Guatemala, two months ago in November. I'm learning Spanish, have found a very cool job utilising my marketing skills (I took the scary plunge and walked out on the high paid career, nice car.....) and am fulfilling my dream of wanting to live abroad and learn another language.

So the experience didn't end in Argentina, it's continuing on longer than I could have hoped and has now become that illusive, exotic way of life, we all hanker after.

LIFE is a trip! It's all about the journey, not the destination!
