Hi,
I will go to Atyrau for a job and because I will love there for several month I was collecting ifno about the city (or town) and its area.
Lucky me... it seems that all the area (probably all the Kazakhstan) is polluted in the air, in the soil and in the water. It seems Kazakhstan is also a bit (I hope not more than a bit and not in the Atyrau area) radioactive.
Is that possible?

Does anyone can help me, please?

Thanks

Hey elbravodelsolar, I replied to this in your other topic, but I'll post it here too. I don't know anything about the pollution levels...I found this Powerpoint presentation though:

There are a bunch of topics about Kazakhstan here:

You could also browse some blogs about Atyrau here:

AND THEN, if you want some even more personal information, TravelPod's Local Expert from Uzbekistan might be able to help: ahamill http://www.travelpod.com/members/ahamill

Ha! I wasn't trying to reassure you, I was just trying to help you research the truth!
