Rolling Stone Group: Local Expert Posts: 14509 Joined: 5-November 07 From: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Member No.: 103914	From that website, he voted yes to this one: Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $487.03 billion for the Defense Department, military construction, and the Energy Department for the fiscal year 2006. And this one: Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $107.41 billion in emergency supplemental appropriations for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and hurricane relief and recovery efforts, among other purposes. He seems to be all over the place... saying one thing, voting for another. Oh, he voted against cluster bombs: Vote to adopt an amendment that prohibits any funding from going to cluster munitions, unless it is clearly specified that such munitions will not be allowed near civilian populations. And against trying "military combatants" Vote to pass a bill that creates a military commission to try unlawful enemy combatants for violations of the laws of war and establishes rules for the conduct of these commissions. Oh and watch out, he voted to remove the military from Iraq, probably this is the thing that I am looking for to dispute me: Vote to direct the president to begin the phased redeployment of U.S. forces from Iraq. -------------------- My most recent blog: A trip to Toronto that turned into a trip to Niagara

It says right there...he voted to redeploy the troops from Iraq.
