Traveling around Europe by train is a magnificent experience. There are plenty of relaxing, scenic, and cultural train journeys on the continent. National Geographic has compiled a list of their top 10 picks.

There are two journeys within Switzerland. Happily, the Swiss Chocolate train makes the number one spot!

Are there any on here you have personally experienced? Or are hoping to take?

Yes, it does sound great and I have heard many good things about it. I am going to have to try it out for myself one of these days!

No girls, no thank you..... I am not interested at all on that "chocolate train" blow.gif

On the other hand if you ever hear of a "vegetable or a prune train" let me know.
(I just returned from the beach where I was swimming without coming out at all for two and a half hours). party.gif

Getting the train through Bosnia is also a beautiful trip, to add to that list...
