So I might be going to Paris for 3 months for my work. My wife wants to come but is looking for volunteering opportunities in the Paris area so she can add it to her resume and occupy her time. She is a teacher currently in the USA.

Any thoughts on what she can do??

Hmmm...well, English teachers are in demand. She could try tutoring (English or other subjects if she speaks French).

If she likes books, try the English bookstores: Shakespeare & Company or the Abbey. There are others listed here:

Perhaps she could try the schools and assist a teacher in English class.

Thanks for the info! I will have her check that out. I like the idea of assisting a teacher in an English class. I would think if she can get past the French employment rules and regulations, that maybe this would be a real possibility.
