One of the wonderful things about travelling is meeting so many interesting people from all over the world. I do however, seem to meet a few morons as well.
Typical annoying travellers are:

Place Droppers: people who insist on telling you how well travelled they are.

Lone Rangers: those who want to believe they are the only visitor to a country and actively avoid talking to other foreigners (Lone Rangers are frequently encountered in India).

Travel Nazis: I like hearing stories of different places and getting advice on where to go but hate those travellers who actually tell you off for not visiting a place they think is the best. Actual quote: "What! You´re choosing not to go there?! You stupid bastard."

Anyone got any more to add to the list?

Oh and I've still to find a bad Canadian!

Oh, I met the bad Canadians...I was so embarrassed with how rude and inconsiderate the were. I really feel we are all ambassadors for our country. Locals really tend to judge a country by its travellers. Unfortunately, if they only met one bad apple, they may think the whole country is like that.

I once met an aussie guy who told me he hated canadians (I'm a Canadian). when I asked why, one of the things he said was "we've got so many here (this was in byron bay, australia), and they all think the whole world loves them just because they're Canadian".

I couldn't stop laughing.

I have a few more to add to the list
The Connisseur Bore
The one who insists they have found the best coffee shop in the whole of Italy or only they know of the little Greek taverna serving the only greek salad worth eating.
The conversation usually goes like this.
"It was good coffee, but not as good as the little shop in Naples."
"Or that one in Sicily where the waitress had the green hair".
"No the Naples coffee was better - richer"
"How bout that one in Florence just near Uffizi"
"Oh yeah I'd forgottenb about that one - now THAT was good coffee"

Yawn!!

The Squealing Bimbo
The one that packs the hairdryer, Hair straightener, electric toothbrush, electric leg shaver and the 5kgs of makeup into the bright pink travel trunk on wheels that she can't possibly manage to pull along by herself, so she flutters her eyelashes and some gallant bloke gets a hernia lefting it up the kerb.
This is the same one who gets the pigeon seed in St Marks Square and then screams that heart wrenching, show stopper scream when a pigeon lands on her head.

The Family
Mum, dad and 3 ankle biters who have to walk 5 abreast across the footpath with the 4 year old singing the theme from Telly Tubbies over and over and over.
And when little Johnnie wipes his jam encrusted fingers down your nice clean pants, mum turns around and says "he likes you".

but the worst breed of all...
The Cold Water Dumpers.
These are the ones who come into a forum and interupt a perfectly funny, lighthearted, humerous thread and say things like
"we should all be more tolerant"
"this thread is racist"

Take your political correctness and shove it...
