Of all the amazing festivals all around the world, which do you vote is the best?

I really enjoy Shambhala in B.C. Canada....outdoor music festival which lasts 4 days. Fun times smile.gif

Don't miss the ferias in Spain and southern France, especially in the Basque country (Pamplona for example)

Best Music Festival in Europe seems to be the
szigetfestival in Budapest.
Haven't done it yet, won't do it this year because I'll be travelling, but in 2007 I'll be there!

And Bordeaux wine festival

Bogota, is the host of the biggest Theater festival in the world. It is an awesome week where more than 20 countries have different shows, so if you go to Colombia at the end of April, get some tickets for one of the different shows.

The frnge festival and the Heritage day festivals are incredible in Edmonton. The fringe is the largest in Canada, and the heritage days...ohh.. god... all the food... is my absolute favourite ever. I go every year.

WinterLude in Ottawa Canada! Where else can you be this happy in -40 C weather? World's longest skating rink, yummy beavertails, outdoor concerts (yes Canadian are a tad nuts), ice sculptures, French Canadians, and other chilly wonders.
Good times.

I agree with Barrett! And don't forget the street meat! Nothing better than a sausage in -40 degrees..... haha

And for those of you who are a tad whimpy, don't worry, it's a dry cold, so it's not really that bad.

hahaha. Okay, it is. Wear layers. Lots of them.

WOW, -40 and happy at a festival.
So many people are so much stronger than I!

My greatest festival is called the Meredith Music Festival. An amazingly relaxed time. Held in a natural ampitheatre in bushlands about an hour or so from Melbourne Australia. It's been going for 16 years this year. I've taken my esky and tent to about seven of them. Heaps of tents, eskys and great music with a small crowd! Those who run it thankfully won't allow it to expand into a monster!
Food is provided by the Hari Krishners. There are so many fantastic bands from all styles during the day and into the evening. From midnight the place turns into a huge rave and to finish the weekend off, on Sunday afternoon there is the Meredith Gift. This race is totally nude and the winner receives a good Aussie slab of beer (a carton of 24 cans).

hava look: www.mmf.com.au
Don't get that in China! Thats a real Bugger for me!

PS: it is held in the beautiful hot Melbourne SUMMER! Around 30 degrees!
