Experience the colourful landscapes, warm culture and awe-inspiring wildlife of Africa this autumn on a late availability trip with The Adventure Company.

The following trips still have availability for departures in October 2008.

Serengeti Explorer - Tanzania

Giraffe, lion, cheetah, elephant and wildebeest – expect opportunities to see them all on this 10-day trip, which visits the world-renowned wildlife sanctuary of the Serengeti as well as Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.

As part of The Adventure Company’s responsible tourism policy, this trip supports the Arusha Children’s Trust, a charity which runs projects in rural communities in remote areas of the Rift Valley.

Serengeti Explorer departs on 10th October 2008 and costs from £749 per person (plus park fee of £234) on a land-only basis, or from £1,369 (plus park fee of £234) including return flights from London Heathrow. Regional departures can also be arranged – contact The Adventure Company on 0845 609 0889 or see www.adventurecompany.co.uk <http://www.adventurecompany.co.uk> for further details.

Namibian Sands - Namibia
This two-week trip combines all the adventure of Africa with the charm of accommodation in family-run properties, ranging from a small beach-front hotel to a remote stone lodge and an intimate farmhouse.

The circular touring route around Namibia takes in all the country’s most iconic landscapes, including the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei, Fish River Canyon and Sesriem Canyon. Of course, any trip to Africa wouldn’t be complete without wildlife – in Namibia, it can be found in Etosha National Park.

Namibian Sands, departing on 1st or 15th October 2008, costs from £2,049 per person on a land-only basis, or from £2,549 including return flights from London Gatwick. These prices include local payments and are based on twin share accommodation. Regional departures can also be arranged – contact The Adventure Company on 0845 609 0889 or see www.adventurecompany.co.uk <http://www.adventurecompany.co.uk> for further details.

The Garden Route – South Africa
Marvel at the spectacular views along one of the world’s most famous driving routes – South Africa’s Garden Route. The Adventure Company’s 12-day trip begins in Cape Town with a hike up Table Mountain before setting off along the Garden Route towards Stellenbosch, famous for its Cape Dutch architecture and wineries.

Other highlights of the trip include the Klein Karoo, an area known for its ostriches and caves; Africa’s most southerly point Cape Agulhas; and the whale capital of Hermanus which offers the best land-based whale watching in the world.

The Adventure Company’s Garden Route tour departs on 10th October 2008 and costs from £699 per person (plus 1200 ZAR local payment) on a land-only basis, or from £1,499 per person (plus 1200 ZAR local payment) including return flights from London Heathrow. Regional departures can also be arranged – contact The Adventure Company on 0845 609 0889 or see www.adventurecompany.co.uk <http://www.adventurecompany.co.uk> for further details.
