Hi guys, Need some help, found this site and it looks awesome.
My name is Gem, 24 from cornwall. Last year i jacked in my job (van driver for a car parts supplier) and took off to the gambia west africa.......i took £900, my mum lives there, and we rented a house, lived there for 4 months, got to learn a the local language, lived as a local and completely embraced the local way of life. it was amazing. Then we met some guys doing the plymouth to banjul rally, 2 of them decided to buy the car back and drive back the way they came. i went too,
it was great, really changed me and my outlook of life. so we went back up thru africa, spain, france etc i must say after africa europe was so boring.
Anyways been back in england since may..... i hate it, i hate everything, i have my old job back, and it feels like im stuck again..... so i had a talk with the boyfriend couple of months ago..... and we both decided england wasnt where we wanted to be. we are leaving, in january, new year new start.
Where to go, we kinda talked about europe....boo..... we are buying a van (boyfriend is a grease monkey) so travelling in a van or car seems a good thing to do.....
i want warm/ hot weather, slow pace of life, we both agree to stick to the coast, taking our surfboards..... but that is far as we have got......
i want to leave now......
anyways sorry for the essay, any help and advice is great.
