Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
There is a lot to do in Vancouver!
Visit
Granville Island, try the beer while you're there.
Take a bike ride ride or rollerblade around
Stanley Park and check out the totem poles, parklands, and great view of the North Shore mountains. If you have the energy bike the entire
sea wall! While you are there check out the
Vancouver Aquarium. It's fantastic.
There is a really great
Chinatown in Vancouver. Go to
Robson Street for shopping or just to people-watch on one of the rooftop terraces.
Take the gondola up
Grouse mountain or join the locals on the Grouse Grind! It's a tough workout but you will be awarded with the best views in the city at the top.
Capilano Suspension Bridge is also a big draw, and close to Grouse so you can do the two in one day. It's a really fun day out too.
It's a really beautiful city so just walking around the West End / False Creek / Coal Harbour areas will be a delight in themselves. You can also do some kayaking from False Creek.
I hope that gives you some ideas.
Happy travels!
Laura
