Hi,

I'm planning to go Japan around April next year for a 2 weeks holiday. Notice that Japan is one of the most expensive city on earth especially I don't speak Japanese which perceive to be challenging in taking public buses even though I'd love to try.

I intend to do Osaka and Tokyo. maybe one week for each or maybe just Osaka alone. Budget is very limited so would appreciate if anyone can give tips to travel in the budget way.

I'd recommend you consider flying to Tokyo and getting back from Osaka. When you arrive at Narita Airport (Tokyo), get the Narita Express-Suica discount package, which can cover the trip from the airport to Tokyo and then you'll use the Suica prepaid card for native travel in Tokyo.
