My wife and I are travelling shortly out of Toronto Pearson, has anyone tried the Plaza Premium Lounges? We would like to know if its worth the $30 or $35 to enter? I understand you can get in free if you have an Amex card, but we do not unfortunetly. Has anyone experienced?

I have not experienced that particular lounge.

But have stayed in various Business class lounges, and from reading what they say it sounds similar to the business lounges, your coffee food magazines etc are free as well as the internet.

If you and your wife are looking for a quite time before flight then this might be the place as it is like other airports the food is expensive so you would easily spend 40 dollars on food and drink then have to sit in a noisy lounge area, so up to you do you spend 60-70 dollars for the 2hours of peace and quite or save a Dollar and sit with the noise, me personally prefer the quite.

I flew out to Cuba a couple of weeks ago from Terminal 1. When I checked into the Sunwing desk they offered me this coupon to go try some sort of lounge before I boarded the plane. Seeing as I had almost two hours until my flight I went to see what it was like since I have never used a lounge before. I was amazed! The lounge itself was beautiful. It was this huge open space with comfy chairs. They had computers set up and a buffet with chicken, rice and noodles not to mention soups, vege's and snacks. And the open bar?! The service was amazing and all the staff were super friendly. The food and drinks were always being replenished.
I was kinda floored to see that I could find such a deal in the airport. Anyway, I had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is flying out of Toronto and has some spare time to kill before their flight.
