I've just been invited to a pillow fight in Melbourne. Why is anyone's guess, but then I was told to look at this:

www.pillowfightday.com

Anyone?

I agree with the principal of this, as in the 'spread of free event culture', 'free fun...events', 'creative interventions' etc. But a public pillow fight wouldn't be right for me. I'm all for spontaneous pillow fights between people at home or someone elses home - but not sure about a whole event dedicated to it?

Looks like there won't be one in Ottawa. People have said that it's too cold in Toronto and Montreal, but no one has spoken up for the nation's capital!

Maybe I should organize one in the O-Town...hmmm... Do you think?

Edited: Nevermind, I won't be in town at the time...going to Niagara again

I like the cut of your jib.

Too many jammies out on the streets these days as it is.
Well that's it then, no pillow fight here.

What? Use of the word gosh or the over-use of jammies?

Even the guys! It's crazy. Whenever I see a guy wearing jammie bottoms in public, I automatically assume it's his boyfriends turn to do laundry.

I agree btw the spontaneity appeal of the pillow fight. Planning kills it. Kinda like restraints that way I suppose.

Have you heard? A special comitte has started planning National Spontaneity Day. Be on the lookout for the itinerary.
