Commuter Group: Members Posts: 698 Joined: 16-February 06 From: Kingston, Ontario Canada Member No.: 519 Nominate me as a Local Expert	I´m coming home (kingston, Ontario) for the month of december, and am unlikely to be happy just staying at home... can anyone recommend a nice weekend retreat in december for a reasonable price? I´m not a big downhill skiier, but am not adverse to being outside... However, indoors is also great! Member No.: 13877 Nominate me as a Local Expert	i stayed at a great place just outside algonquin provincial park called adventure lodge. i'm not sure what the prices were like, as i was treated, but the accommodation, scenery, food and welcome were great.... it was completely chilled out (no pun intended), and the first time i've ever experienced my nostril hairs literally freezing as i breathed (approx -18°c)...lol we went for walks in the park, saw some beautiful views, and made a snow angel, amongst many other things...
