Why don't you check with TripAdvisor?

I think this will help you a lot. Check the reviews, the location and price.
Good luck

Whenever you ask for hotel suggestions you should ALSO include what you want to spend per night. Not pricy doesn't mean much. How much will you pay? Some wealthy tourists may think only paying $100 a night is "not pricy!"

In Bangkok there is not a big difference in hostel prices and what you pay for a small hotel or guest house where you have your own room and private toilet.

Only you will know if the below suggestions are "pricy" or not. All of these places are not far from city rail service called the Skytrain.

Lub D Hostel.

Suk 11 Hostel.

Maxim's Inn.

Orchid Inn hotels. (Small private hotels in Sukhumvit area.)

If you are a kid or just out of school there are many hotels under 1000 baht in the Khao San Road area - but no close access to the Skytrain rail service.

Have fun.
