I don't think there's much that won't improve once Obama's in officially. Even if there are policies he knows little about, a little time to educate himself and he'll be making all kinds of good decisions. Mine's an opinion fully based on the fact that I truly believe in him as a president. Bush took travel restrictions way too far in my opinion. There are so many stories, even through this site, of people being searched and violated left right and center. Couldn't get much worse than that. There really only is room for improvement yes.gif

I think that's a little out of date. The British Pound has collapsed against the $ by over a third in the last 6 months and it's only going to get worse

Yet, no matter what websites are out of date, I think we've all determined that people are still going to travel whether the dollar goes up or down, whether we go through a significant recession etc. These thing pass in a cycle all time. And with the fervor of Obama-Rama, tourism to the US is going to increase for sure. There's no downplaying the immense popularity Obama has gained over the world and how many people, not just US citizens, look to him with hope for change.

Besides, think about it, violations against human rights happen all the time through travel restrictions. A black president may know a thing or two about human rights violations. Pretty sure things will change for the better no matter what's happening with the dollar. Or someone's bad spelling smile.gif
