At 50 years of age we decided to sell out in Canada and move to the Dominican Republic. We have been here almost 3 years and it has been interesting! So far so good. We are pretty much used to the many local customs. We sold out house and bought a small hotel in Cabarete, the Casa Blanca. Spent the last couple of years fixing it up and entertaining some really great guests from all over the world. If you are coming to Cabarete anytime, be sure to stop by, regardless of where you are from. Canadians of course get the special welcome. What ever that is! casablancacabarete.com
