It was a tough choice between the girl and the starfish, but I went with the starfish in the end.

The two that stole my attention were Braided Girl and Starfish.

I really liked Starfish, but went for Braided Girl because the picture is captured beautifully and the expression on the little girls face says a thousand words.

Wow, the first one is my first choice! What a lovely photo! The last one looks like a poster! It's beautiful too but I'm a people-photos person all the way.

Although all the pictures are great, the little girl is the one that I am picking - she is not only beautiful, she is fimiliar as well.

There are some travellers with a great 'eye'

Great shots, as always!

I had to go it the starfish mainly because of the interesting "story" that the tracks appear to tell. Are they parent and child, star crossed lovers or just strangers meeting on a beach.....hmmmmm.

African kids always seem to capture heart - whereas strafish tracks I've never seen - even after living in the pacific for 3 years, so that gets my vote!

Gotta go for the girl: lovely focussed composition.
The starfish is 2nd because it is also has no distractions. Bolivia is good but a bit static, and the other two have slightly crooked horizons.

Braided Girl is definitely the one for me. It's difficult to capture some of the more personal memories when travelling and getting caught up in the backpacker thing. This photo does just that...what is she thinking I wonder?

#5 makes me really, really want to go to NZ. It supports every vivid descriptive I've heard about how beautiful New Zealand really is. smile.gif It's just so green. Truly spectacular. I love that photo too.

FYI, it looks like alllllllllot I have just seen in Northern Ireland... that place was ridiculously green.

Anyway, I am voting for the starfish, I love it, it reminds me of a disney film...

Wow, this month was tough. I ended up going with the waterfalls...it's so clear and the colors so bright.

I loved the starfish and braided girl too, though.
