If anyone is brave enough to go, I'd like to compile a list of the best travelpods for the poles. This list will get pinned so it's easy for people to find when they're interested in reading about or travelling to the poles.
I'll include a little summary and why it's great, so start posting!
Do imaginary blogs count? I could write about my experiences with the Shackleton crew... A penguin taught me french in antarctica once also, that was cool!

Ok, since no one else wants a go, and to blow our own trumpet, how about this? Or, for a competely different take, this from someone who spent a few seasons down there.
We know it is actually not extremely nice to mention oneself travelblog, but we have to defend the other Pole (the North one) from the overwhelming popularity of Antarctica (though probably we'd change opinion if we go there too....)
If by any chance you are interested in Svalbard...
I have worked in Antarctica twice now, its very enjoyable, but i wouldn't say its the ultimate work place. To be honest I think its overrated. I was asked to work down there next month, but turned it down.
I worked on Mc Murdo station, an American base on NZ claimed soil. I did post a blog, however I deleted it since then.
