I have a 7-8 hour layover at incheon int. airport and was trying to think of something to do for a few hours not to far from the airport with easy access back and forth. Would going to bupyeong be a good choice. If so how to I get back and forth. Or open to other suggestions.

Hello! Well, I'm not sure about Bupyeong. I'm really not sure much is there other than a market. 7-8 hours isn't MUCH time, but I think you could manage to get into the city. There are airport shuttle buses that are constantly running. You could take one to Seoul Station, and from there take the subway or a taxi to Insadong or go check out Gyeongbukgong Palace. The buses from Soul Station to the airport and back take about 45 mins to an hour. They run every hour or more FROM Seoul Station. If you think you'd want to try this, I can explain further about buses. They're really easy to use in Korea. To the palace or Insadong (old, cultural part of the city) is relatively close to Seoul Station so it should take less than 10mins in a taxi and cost less than 10,000 won. You could definitely do this in the time you have as long as you don't get lost....
