For me it was Egypt in June 2008, it was about 45 degrees (celsius) the day I was at the Valley of the Kings.
Another day was at home in Melbourne in January this year, the week of Black Saturday was the hottest I've ever experienced here, I think it was about 46 degrees. The company I work for closed up early 2 days in a row!

I wish they'd do that more often hear when it's freeeezing. Mostly it's just for huge dumps of snow.

Hottest day would be here in Melbourne, about 46C or so.

The hottest I have felt was in Bangkok at the Chatachuk Market, it was only 34C but humid as all hell and in those narrow aisles with no air circulation at all...gah!

Spitzkoppe, Namibia: 38C in the shade, 48C in the sun. Even our local guide was sweating!

40-45C is like a walk in the park for me (srsly, it's a growing heat trend in our area). But I'm terrible with cold. 10C and I'm already convulsing trying to warm myself up. I really hate morning, cold showers.

That goes for the AC as well. >__>

When I was in the military training in the desert.
I think it must have been 40C in the shade, not to mention full gear, heavy helmet etc.

After my cloth dried I had salt stains from the salt.

I won't even go into wearing a gas mask...

It was in Cairo and Sharlm el Sheih......during noon time you cannot get outside.
All site seeing is made at 6.30 am and stop by 9.30 maximum 10.
Luckily it is just hot, no humidity at all, because humidity makes things even worse.

I'd say it was when I was in the Sahara Desert in Mauritania in April of 2009. 40C in the shade and it must have been more than 45C out of it.

It wouldn't have been too bad except on my trip we had to dig out a 18 Ton sandbogged truck in the heat of the day for 4 hours, where any water left in the sun for more than 10secs became 40C water (luckily there was a well nearby).

For me, 30-45 Celsius degrees are all the same. I grew up in Finland, where 24 is hot. I think I felt hottest when I was working on archaeological excavations in Galilee, Israel, in August 2005. It was 44 in shade and we were working very hard under the sun. Moving dirt and stones from one place to another...

I'd have to say every summer in Guilin is the hottest I've ever felt. I live in Guilin, where it is sub tropical. I grew up in the north of the mid-west in the U.S., where the winters are long, frigid, and dry. Summers were short and dry as well. Here it gets up to 35 degrees, which doesn't bother me, but it's 100% humidity every single stinkin' day! I feel like I'm going to melt. I miss the cold and snow!!!

Well we live in Florida so its regularly above 105 (f) degrees here on any given day from August through Septmeber.

Hottest I have been in (with heat index) is 115 here in Pensacola Florida where we live. Not only is it the heat but we are always around 100% humidity as well which makes it like you step into a pool right when you go outside of instant sweating.

Not fun in the summer for sure.

Sounds like here. The biggest difference is that we don't have central air, or good insulation in houses, so you sweat inside as well.
