Recently, I've read in a very interesting article in a travel magazine. They mentioned a new trend of learning a new skill while traveling. Instead of just traveling to a country - reserve a hotel, open a guide book, eat in restaurant, lay on the beach and roam from one city to another, you could actually learn a new skill you have always wanted to and travel.

I'm planning a 2-month trip myself..maybe later this year.

I have always wanted to study martial arts and consider going to Thailand for it...Now I just found this program on google...they offer Martial Art Camp on an island inThailand. Training, accommodation and food included..think it was about $1000 for 2months.

Since I haven't been to Thailand before, what do you of thailand as a country? ....Now I'm not sure if anyone has experienced on this kinda camp/travelling..any comments/suggestions are very much appreciated..thank you

I think that's a great idea.

I thought Thailand was beautiful. I didn't spend much time there, but I went to I-San and the jungle.

I think most people go to the islands, but I guess it depends on what you are looking for.
