Nominate me as a Local Expert
Some of my contacts in my Travelpod address book aren't getting notified when I upload a new entry, even though I am checking option to notify all contacts in address book. The ones I have found out about are all contacts that signed up for auto notification. It appears that people who didn't sign up for that are getting notified -- probably because I am opting to send to all contacts. Is there a new issue with the auto notification feature?

Also, I am unable to modify the address book to change a contact's auto update option. Do they have to do this themselves?

You can't change whether someone is subscribed to you, but you can edit their name and email address.

Thanks for helping. I've sent an email to everyone in my address book (by cutting and pasting!!) to let them know issue and to confirm if they are getting notified or not. Only a few replies at this point, but so far confirms that if they signed up for auto updates, they are not getting notified, but if they didn't sign up for that option they are getting notified! Once you figure this out, if I need to, I can request they undo that option.

I just experimented with the "unsubscribe" function using my own email address in the address book. When you unsubscribe you are removed from the address book entirely, instead of just removing the option to receive auto updates.

The friends I have heard from who auto subscribed used to get the messages but are no longer. I am wondering if this issue occured when you put out the new version of your software.

Please let me know if this can/will be fixed. If not, then I will have to delete the auto subscribers and add them myself. Ugh!
