i am planning on traveling to Yaremcha, Ukraine and wondered what to expect. What kind of society is it? Have any of you heard of a travel agency called Omega Touristik? I heard that they were a travel agency there and that they did not have a web site. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

I am planning on going to a small community called Balabanovka that is located in Yaremcha. I think that it is located south of Ivano Frankovsk. Have you ever heard of it or how big it is? I also heard that there is a travel agency called Omega Touristik? Has anyone heard of this town or agency? I would appreciate any help possible. I think this is a rural area and I was curious about recreational facilities and restaurants and hotels in the area. Any and all information will greatly be appreciated. Thanks for your help and assistance.

There are several villages called Balabanovka in Ukraine but І don't know anyone that is located near Yaremche. In addition, such a name isn't typical for that region.

Yes, there are a lot of recreational facilities there smile.gif If you like wild nature you may look at one of samples, it's my last year's backpacking in Carpathians - http://www.andrius.org.ua/archives/209

As to residence I can advise you a site to search all you need http://www.karpaty.info/en/recreation/residence/
As to restaurants you'd better ask locals about them, there is a sufficient quantity smile.gif

Btw Ron, where are you from?
