Hi,

Im new here, im from the philippines, married and have 7 kids,
i want to go have a pleasure tour together
with my family,Disney land i think is the best place for my kids,
but i have a problem on which states i need to go through?

Hi, Ronald. Disneyland is in the city of Anaheim, state of California. The nearest airport, about 40 minutes away, is LAX, or Los Angeles International. If you stay in a Disney owned hotel, they will provide you with transportation from the airport to the hotel, and also to the parks. If you do not stay in the Disney hotels, shuttle service is fairly inexpensive. I used Super Shuttle last time I was there.

a total of 9, 2 adults and 7 kids. i have relatives in W.A, but i have no idea
how many miles going from WA to CA.

We just got back from Disney in Orland, FL, two weeks ago. You can click on the link in my signature (should have all entries up by next week) to see the blog about it.

Disney is VERY expensive. For 9 people we're talking about ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for just one week if you stay in a Disney hotel, maybe a bit less if you stay off property (not in a Disney owned hotel) but it will still run you several thousands dollars.

Your best bet is to go during the "slow" time for Disney, which is when the kids are at school (in the US) there are several websites which tell you when. This is when we went and we saved about $2K (for three people + a 2 year old which didn't get charged to enter the park) on the tickets & dining plan for 8 days.
That being said, it was still the most expensive vacation we ever took.

From Seattle, WA to Disneyland is about a day's drive (18 hours or so).

Seattle to Los Angeles (Anaheim) is a long drive. There is a lot to see between there and here. You may want to stay a couple days as you drive down--visit the Redwoods, San Francisco, Napa, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara or many other possibilities along the way.

No Disney trip is cheap. But there are a lot of less expensive places to stay within walking distance to the parks. With your large family you might want to try Embassy Suites (make sure it is the one closest to Disneyland!)...they have a shuttle to take you to the parks.

Please note that DisneyWorld and Disneyland are set up differently. There is no dining plan at Disneyland. The food is more expensive at Dland than at Dworld--but it is less expensive to get into the parks (but there are only 2). Park hopper tickets are good, you can just walk across from one park to the other as you please. The parks are not spread out all over the place like at Dworld.
