Rolling Stone Group: Local Expert Posts: 5853 Joined: 18-August 06 From: Guelph, Ontario Member No.: 13336	Anyone looking for something to do in Florida might be into this; Gliding Along the Forgotten Coast of Florida Ths NY Times article is an indepth account of a kayaking trip beginning at the mouth of the Apalachicola River through to St George Island and beyond. It includes a link to a map of each of the 26 segments of the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail. That would be awesome! Could you stop at campgrounds along the way then? I've always wanted to try a paddle trip out for a week or two at least. I think it would be great fun. Being on the water is the best. Paddling in the ocean? Tripper Group: Local Expert Posts: 2002 Joined: 4-June 06 Member No.: 2195	It is awesome, especially as you would do most of the circuit on protected inland waterways, such as the Intracoastal Waterway. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intracoastal_Waterway You can even cut across Florida on the Okeechobee Waterway http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okeechobee_Waterway -------------------- .
