Hello,

I am going to Thailand (Bangkok) for the first time at the end of April for 6 weeks with a friend and was wondering roughly how much spending money would we need?
Plus any other tips,
thanks

You could spend $10 a day or $1000 a day, it all depends what kind of a 'spender' you are. Are you staying Bangkok the whole time or venturing further afield? What are you planning to do/see?

No just starting off in bangkok then hopefully going down south for afew weeks and then finishing back in bangkok.
I havent really thought about exactly what I want to do and see because its my first time I thought maybe in the south 1 or 2 of the big islands/towns down there and maybe even try one of the towns in the North to sight see, check out the local attractions and mayeb hit afew bars.

Definitely a bit of a "piece of string" question!
