It sounds like the app is not syncing properly (updates should normally be instantaneous if you have a good network connection).
You may want to try quitting the app entirely and restarting:
FIRST: Copy the current entry that hasn't updated into Mail or Notes so you have a copy in case it gets overwritten.
NEXT:
Tap on the large iPad button to get to the Home Screen.
Double tap the large iPad button to bring up the recent apps list.
Tap and hold on the TravelPod icon until you see the red delete circles on the icons.
Tap the red delete circle on the TravelPod app icon.
Then restart the TravelPod app. It should reconnect with the server and resync your entry properly.
If this doesn't help, be sure you've saved your entry to Email or Notes for safekeeping, then delete the app and download it again from the App Store.
We are releasing an update soon which will fix problems such as this.
