My family and myself are planning a short weekend trip to Washington, D.C. from Pittsburgh for a friend's graduation party. The five of us (including my two parents, 18 yo brother and 16 yo sister) will have maybe four hours one morning and four hours a second morning to see some of the monuments and such. I was hoping someone could tell me what are the most worthwhile 3-5 things we have to see while we are there.

I did some research and we do not want to go to the National Zoo, but we would like to see the World War II memorial, so anything close to that would be great.

Thanks everyone!
Jessica
