Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 17-December 09 Member No.: 585821	Hi, new here. Going to Oz then Nz in Jan and i need my laptop to work on whilst there. I will often be staying in dorms etc. Are there secure places where you can leave laptops etc as i dont wont to be lugging it around with me all day everyday. thx

There are also lockers sometimes too. It will depend on the hostel of course. I know that there are also some fancy contraptions you can buy to secure your stuff. Most often, things don't get stolen, because you are in a hostel with other travelers you know. They don't want to lug around your laptop either, so they won't steal it!
