Hello,

My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon during the first half of June in Tanzania. Our idea is to spend about a week on a safari and then relaxing another week in Zanzibar.

We are looking for any kind of advice, like the area to go on the safari considering the period of the year?

I will be glad to help. June is the coldest month of the year in Kenya and Tanzania but it is still comfortable. For a safari, it is a very good time to visit the Serengeti as the wildebeest migration should be crossing the Grumeti River in the western portion of the Serengeti at that time (the migration is weather dependent so the exact timing is not possible. I would expect that you would like to take at least 5 days on safari to make the trip worthwhile. It is dependent on whether you are budgeting for flying in by small plane to the safari or traveling overland. The next priority for a safari destination would be the Ngorongoro Crater. If you are traveling overland, you would have to pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. It would be just a matter of paying the vehicle crater entrance fee ( a steep fee of $200/ vehicle) and spending a day to explore. I can give you much more details and advice if you contact me with more specifics. I will gladly help you in any way that I can. in Tanzania you can make good safari, only if you ans me i can see if i can provide you with any advice,.

Congratulations! Hi My Name is Martina and I suggest you combine with Kenya-Diani beach as there is much more things to do over low season instead of Zanzibar.I got maried in Las Vegas went for honeymoon to Kenya.
Now I live here on Diani Beach with my husband and have luxury villa with 6 acres lush tropical garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi, if you need any help let me know.

2days/2nites-ngorongoro creater
3days/3nites-serengeti/maasai mara
overnite-moshi
2days/1nites-kilimanjaro
Zanzibar/Dar.

1 night in Arusha
1 night in Manyara
2 nights in Serengeti
2 nights in Ngorongoro crater
7 nights in Zanzibar ( 1 night at Stone town & 5 nights at beach)
Kindly advice type of Lodges / Hotels interested - if luxury or high end luxury.
