Rolling Stone Group: Local Expert Posts: 14509 Joined: 5-November 07 From: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Member No.: 103914	The Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib or Sri Darbar Sahib) is the most significant shrine of the Sikhs and it is also one of the oldest Sikh gurudwara. It is located on a small island in the center of a pool called Amritsar (pool of ambrosial nectar), India. Anybody been before? Perhaps on this trip I should go to the golden temple, stay a night or two, and report back. Time permitting, that is.
