Hi
Please share the beaches you recommend! I got too many, but the first one is... Waikoloa beach in Hawaii as said in my entry

I would love to see every different land on the earth... I`ll try my best
I want to visit Greece soooo bad right now. I don`t exactly know where I got that from, but that`s my aim

Hopefully fly there on my own

btw, this is a great place to keep records and pics of my travel logs

My next suggestion is........... beach.gif

Hmm, tough one. Would have to go with One Foot Island in Aitutaki, Cook Islands for me. beach.gif

Although Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands are a close runner up.

Clovelly , Sydney Australia - its not a popular beach and barely warrants the term beach but its referred to as one.......more of a bay of sorts but anywho its my favourite spot in Sydney. the lookout point is the highlight, you can sit on the edge of the cliffs and look out onto the ocean (i saw dolphins one time which was a great experience) and its a few beaches down from Bondi Beach. the drive from bondi to clovelly is also worth a mention

also have to add Whale Beach north of Sydney - its isolated , next to the popular palm beach but in my opinion is far better

I really liked Sihanoukville, Cambodia for some reason. I stayed next to the S*$#ty beach but when you can rent a moped for $4/day I found it great to get around the area. Ochheuteal beach was massive, clear blue and empty! Think I saw a handful of other people all day.

Plus there are great Mekong Whisky buckets for $5 (1 75cl Bottle of Mekong Whisky, 1 can of Coke!) at night on the party beaches smile.gif wacko.gif drinks_wine.gif drinks.gif

Hi

I wouldn't bother with the beaches ın Greece. They are full of litter and the Greek people are generally not nice. Actually all of Greece seemed like a large dumpıng ground. Old refrıgerators and pıles of rubbısh everywhere.

But Turkey was a nice surprise for me. The beaches are much cleaner the people are much friendlier and it ıs cheaper.

Go Turkey!

I've just spent a few days in the Cape Le Grand National Park, Esperance, right in the south-west corner of Australia. 'Best beaches in the world' they reckon. As spectacular as I've seen I must say say, and with sand as white as I've seen it. Two thumbsup!

Mmm, speaking of white sand: Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays, Hyams Beach at Jervis Bay, Australia, and the beaches at Panama City, Florida.

What I wouldn't give for one right now... as the rain's hammering down on my window sad.gif

With the prospect of a long, cold winter just ahead this thread is throughly depressing me! Yet also inspiring me to get the hek out of freezing cold dodge and head somewhere warm!

The nature park outside of Pula Croatia. Clear, beautiful water, privacy to go (half) naked, and lots of small bays.

Has anyone been to "The Beach" featured in Leonardo DiCaprio's movie? I love that movie and have always wondered if the real thing is as amazing as in the movie.
