I'm staying at a hotel in Israel, and i want to go in private to Mount Tabor as well as to other archaelogical and Christianity sites. Is it easy to move with local transportation?

Where are you staying at?

Not that it really matters, Israel is small and public transportation is excellent. I can't give you any specifics though.

Thank you so much for your reply. The truth is that me and my husband are not really there yet. But we will be hopefully in August 2010. At the moment i could not really thought of using another phrase than that we were in Israel, already.

But your info concerning the public transportation is appreciated.
We have checked to visit Israel by using a tourist office from our country but the cost is high
so we thought of going there on our own.
I have already informations about flying tickets cost and hotel rates but didn't knew how to move around and if would be easy to do so.
Now i have an idea.

Thanks, again "laorfamily".

You're welcome, just remember that there is no public transportation on Saturdays.
