Welcome to the forums, Diane!
Hmmm... well all of Canada is wonderful and all of it is very different. Go to BC and Alberta for mountains, Ontario for lakes and the Maritimes for beaches and the ocean.
Canada is unfortunately not a pedestrian friendly country in general, but there are lots of small parks within the cities that you might want to visit.
Algonquin Park is a great place to go if you like hiking, it's a giant park in the northern part of Ontario. Check it out, you'd probably really like it.
Toronto: I always get $2 bubble tea in Chinatown whenever I go. I've got lots of recommendations for events in Toronto. When are you going to be there?
Montreal: If you like beer, go to Dieu du Ciel. I also have lots of event ideas for Montreal, but I need to know when you are going.
ALSO!
Stop in Ottawa on your way between Toronto and Montreal and visit the TravelPod office!

I have done a few:
Alberta British Columbia New Brunswick Nova Scotia Ontario Prince Edward Island Quebec
and stopped off at Winnipeg airport (but that doesn't count)!

If you really look like your passport photo, you need the holiday!
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
British Columbia Alberta Saskachewan Manitoba Ontario Quebec New Brunswick Nova Scotia Prince Edward Island
Because of my family's business (and my mother not being able to fly), I have traveled across Canada by car 29 times! I'm flying from now on... haha...
