I am travelling through Central and South America. When I get to Bolovia I thought about a boat trip from Puerto Villaroel to Trinidad. How good is it from the point of seeing wildlife? How long does the trip take?

I want to cross into Brazil at Corumba. What is the public transport like between these two places, is it better to fly from Trinidad to Corumba? Is the latter a good place to get into the Pantanal?

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have to be honest. I haven't a clue in respect to travelling on the Mamore. Nevertheless you may be able to extract some gems of wisdom from fellow Travelpoders who have blogged from Trinidad:

As far as getting to the Pantanal, Corumba is a very good place to start. To get there you may look at "El Tren de la Muerte" (which the train company calls "Tren de Vida") from Santa Cruz to Corumba here:
