Ha!

I just found this photo montage about the best places in the world to get naked. Some of them are well-known, others are well....surprising...

http://www.concierge.com/ideas/spawellness.../500111?mbid=wb

Whether it's for art, health, relaxation, or spiritual awakening, a whole world of travel is opening up to the idea of an NC-17 holiday. But remove your mind from the gutter—this isn't about sex. This nudity is about art! About freedom of expression! About refocusing your third eye! And when that all fails, it's also about checking out the hotties in the thermal baths in Iceland. In other words, those in the know are also those in the buff. Read on to find the best places to take it all off, from Nevada's desert of hot bodies to Japan's nude theme park.

WARNING: Some of these pictures are, ahem, somewhat risqué. Click at your own discretion.

Where is your favourite place to take it all off?

It'd have to be somewhere warm and also private so it was just me and John - out in the open air.

Me naked? On one hand, anywhere really. I once went snorkeling naked with me mate. I dunno why we did though.

On the other hand, it's not a shining example of a male body, so nowhere.

There are tons of places like that in the Caribbean, normally filled with overweight, middle aged Americans of both sexes.

It's nothing to do with Nudists though....just people who like to have adult fun. I believe Nudism isn't anything to do with adult fun. It's about being free. And not shaving parts that should probably do with a trim at the very least.

This had been covered in another thread but my faves are Wreck Beach in Vancouver & North Baker Beach in San Francisco.

Other places I took such liberties were the fire trails behind the Univeristy of California at Santa Cruz, behind the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, isolated parts along the Don River in Toronto, Cosmopolitan Park in Saskatoon, & Spectacle Lake at Dartmouth, near Halifax.

Wow, what a bunch of nudists! I've never done it, unless you count in my parent's pool when I was a kid/teenager.

Spot on. It's very grim.

Then again, 90% of the "lads" going out to Majorca and Ibiza are only interested in two things, same as the people at those adult resorts...

Nudism, or Naturalism, is not about sex. It's about freedom & body acceptance. Too many people have the misguided idea that nudists are perverts. I don't feel sexy or horny when nude; but natural & free.

But I can imagine that, in some places, there are perverts jumping on the naturalist bandwagon & ruining it for the rest of us. ranting2.gif

Nah, these places don't advertise themselves as Nudist resorts or whatnot, they freely admit they are adult orientated "fun things". I cant recall the names of the places, but its just fat, middle aged Americans getting drunk and doing all sorts. Not a hella lot different from Spring Break really, only they pay top dollar to go to the resorts. They don't claim to be anything to do with Nudists etc.

Resorts? Resorts check out individuals they allow in to screen out troublemakers. They have security teams to keep members from getting rowdy. I can't imagine a resort, which charges top dollar, letting guests get drunk & naked. In public nude places, like Wreck Beach, no one is charged anything to enter & behave very well without any security personnel watching over them. Even those who come just to gawk at all the naked bodies cause no problems.
