Has anyone done it? Is it possible & worthit by sea & land trip?
Unfortunately I dont have enough time to spend a night in KK, although I would love to.

I've not done it myself but i've just checked- it possible. However it's a 3 hour ferry trip there and back. So that's going to cut 6 hours of your day out. It makes it a very short visit.

First ferry leaves 8:30 from Labuan, if you do decide to do it.

thanks Barsie. I also got information there is 1/2 hour speed boat leaving as early as 7.15 (provided if full) to Menumbok, but the land transport seems to have no time guarantee either with minivans transfer in between Menumbok & KK, which would take 1hr45mins, not to mention the waiting time. So I guess, it would still take the same time as leaving by slow ferry, only it may be earlier.
