As in....which ones are in South Korea???

There are a lot of chains here, but usually, in very specific areas.

Fast Food:

• McDonalds (of course)
• Burger King
• KFC
• There are some Quiznos
• Taco Bell (on the base)

There are more, but these are the most popular.

Restaurants:

• Outback Steakhouse
• TGI Fridays
• VIPs--western food chain, not sure of origin...

Icecream/desserts:

• Coldstone
• Baskin Robbins--on like, every corner
• Krispy Kream

Clothing/Department Stores:
Most of the department stores are Korean owned, but some carry high-end, name brand items. Of course, there are a knock-off stores everywhere, but you can find the real deal in specific areas of Seoul and Busan--not sure about other cities. Basic stores like:

• Gap
• Banana Republic
• Forever 21--just opened in Seoul
• Adidas
• H&M to open in March 2010 in Seoul...very excited...
• etc...

There are also 7-11's scattered throughout the country--sorry, no Slurpies or Big Gulps though.

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there are plenty I can't think of at the moment.
