Hi everyone living in Kenya or anybody who wants to give me information about my Mission Trip which is planned to be the first week of July this year!
I am sick and tired of the kind of Trips and excursions I had in my life up to now, and I really need to experience the real World. I want to help as much as possible, live with the locals, work with them, and return soon if the trip is successful and create something good there.
I am planning the trip to Kenya and want to travel the beginning of July.
I have heard it is the best season.
Do I need any vaccins?
How dangerous is it with the Aids and Malaria there?
What are the precautions I have to take?
I am going to stay with a local family - me and my husband -. and even visit one or two countries in the round area. I plan to stay 3 weeks.
Is somebody from Nairobi who reads this and wants to help us in a way, suggest things and help me plan this trip so that it will turn out to be a successful one?
Of course is the family who is hosting us, but I really need more support.
I mean any help will do.
How easy is internet access?
I place the questions here, and ANYONE who knows something can add. It does not need to be an expert for all the questions I place here.
How safe is it to carry Euro with me, and what are the alternatives.
What kind of clothes do I have to take with me.
How about pills? (Asprins are the only medicine I take).
Do I need pills for the possible diseases?
Is it dangerous if I stay with locals in the Massai? I am told that we shall spend a couple of days there with an eniment family.
Oh yes....What is the best and safest airlines flying there?
Is the Emirates one of the best? How about Kenya airlines.
Can somebody fly to the Seychelles from there and how far is it?
Ok I think this is enough.
Please help me plan this trip, and I want to see locals helping me as well.
Thank you guys a lot.
